All My Babies: A Black Midwife’s Own Story

All My Babies: A Black Midwife’s Own Story ( Full movie can be seen at this site)

This film is the story of “Miss Mary” Coley, an Afrikan midwife in america who served her community in rural Georgia more than half a century ago! This movie gives US an opportunity to revisit a time in Our Story when Our community understood and respected the Sacred Power of divine Afrikan womanhood. Sankofa!

We Must REMEMBER what Our foremothers have laid down for US. We Must Reclaim the righteous traditions that they gave US. This is Our divine inheritance that WE cannot afford to abandon. How can the very women who created this tradition now ignore it and reject it? WHO taught US to Do that?

There can be NO greater power than being in control of your OWN body, mind and spirit. Please watch this video and leave your comments here so we can decide How we are going to reclaim OUR sacred tradition that Belongs to US!!
